SEO Manager

RideDigital is a digital marketing agency located in Overland Park. We help businesses grow through cost-effective strategies focusing on web design/development, SEO & search advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing. We serve more than 75 clients in many different industries, including RV and marine dealerships, financial companies, medical offices, and more. 

The right candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of SEO, website structure, keyword analysis/research, and the tools needed to achieve success. The SEO manager’s role focuses on the ability to assess, plan, and execute a strategy to ensure our client’s websites are visible to their target audience.

Your responsibilities:

  • Create and implement monthly SEO strategies for our client’s websites; including, but not limited to, keyword research, content updates and optimization, competitive analysis, site audits, Google My Business and Product updates, and more. 
  • Track lead generation, local search rankings, and organic traffic to measure SEO performance and make necessary optimizations
  • Research SEO trends/standards and apply them to monthly SEO strategies and future projects
  • Assist with new website builds to ensure a smooth website transition (i.e. site structure guidance, url redirects, transfer of meta data/content, etc.)
  • Communicate with the internal team on SEO project statuses and results
  • Communicate with clients on SEO results/trends/analytics and be able to recommend future services and projects based on those results
  • Set up Google Analytics accounts for new clients and help our internal team troubleshoot and maintain GA4 accounts for our clients
  • Collect and analyze data from Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs.com, or other third party tools, to drive SEO decisions and strategy
  • Work with our development team to ensure our websites and platforms are following Google’s guidelines and best practices
  • Lead the expansion of future SEO-related services

Our Requirements:

  • Degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred 
  • Strong understanding in local SEO, including Google Business Profile optimization, citation building, and local keyword targeting.
  • Strong technical SEO skills, including experience with website structure optimization, site audits, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing digital environments/channels
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Strong independent work ethic demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to provide clear direction to delegate tasks if needed
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal team as well as external clients
